June 2022
June 2-9 – SeaBase (for scouts that have already signed up)
June 6 – Summer Camp Shakedown (7:00pm)
This is when we check to make sure that everyone has what they need to go to summer camp.
Please bring you packed trunk for summer camp, two copies of your medical form parts A,B,&C (including two copies of your insurance card, front and back) with you as we will be checking them all in preparation for Summer Camp
Parents may bring any letters, care packages, etc. to the shake down. These must be sealed in envelopes with the scout's name that should receive the package as well as the date on which they should receive it
We will also be collecting the combinations for the trunks as scouts do occasionally forget them. Please refer to our packing list to assist you with packing. An important reminder, You must be wearing close toed shoes outside of a tent. Sliders are not acceptable. Sandals, tennis shoes, water shoes, and boots that encase the toes are.

If you are going to SeaBase or participating at any of the water activities at summer camp, then it is required that you take the BSA Swim Test.
If you plan on attending, then arrive then please arrive ready to swim. Wear swim trunks, closed-toe footwear. Swim goggles are ok. Bring a towel, shirt and bottle of water in a daypack.
Participants will be tested in a swimming pool deep enough for water to be over their heads when standing. Results of the test will put participants in one of three categories
Swimmer
Jump feetfirst into water over the head in depth, level off, and begin swimming. Swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: sidestroke, breaststroke, trudgen, or crawl; then swim 25 yards using an easy resting backstroke. The 100 yards must be swum continuously and include at least one sharp turn. After completing the swim, rest by floating.
Beginner
Jump feetfirst into water over the head in depth, level off, swim 25 feet on the surface, stop, turn sharply, resume swimming as before, and return to starting place.
Non-Swimmer
Unable to complete the swim test
